SCHOLARSHIPS THAT SUPPORT YOUR JOURNEY

The College of Law New Zealand supports several scholarships that help students and emerging professionals at important stages of their pathway into the legal profession. Each scholarship has its own purpose, but together they reflect our ongoing commitment to creating opportunities and reducing barriers for those beginning their careers in law.

Below is an overview of the scholarships currently available, with links to full details and application information.

It provides significant support to a student in the early years of their LLB who shows clear motivation, commitment and interest in a future in the profession.  The selection process allows applicants to talk about what motivates them, what they hope to achieve and how they see themselves contributing to the profession as they progress.

This scholarship has supported a number of promising students over the years and remains a meaningful way for the College to encourage future members of the profession.

Scholarship details:

  • Annual scholarship of $3,000 per year, renewable for up to four consecutive years (totalling a maximum of $12,000).
